Dr. Jean Tuggey
Dr. Jean Tuggey received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry. Soon after graduation, she moved with her family from the New York area to Dallas where she worked in the Highland Park area as a dental hygienist. After three years as a hygienist, Dr. Tuggey decided to return to dental school to complete her doctorate degree in dentistry.
In 1985, Dr. Tuggey completed her degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She and her husband, Matt, returned to the Dallas/Fort Worth area to begin her career as one of the first female dentists in Northeast Tarrant County.
Through the years, Dr. Tuggey has successfully managed and maintained one of the premier dental practices in the area, although she reserves most of the praise for her experienced staff of professionals and "the best patients in the world". She was awarded the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. The Fellowship is a very respected distinction that few dentists earn. Additionally, the Consumers' Research Council of America chose Dr. Tuggey as one of 'America's Top Dentists'. Dr. Tuggey continues to receive countless hours of continuing education beyond her graduate degree in an effort to provide the latest in the field of dentistry to her patients.
Dr. Tuggey's hobbies include outdoor activities, projects around the house and keeping up with her two daughters, Lindsay and Leslie.
